- 6 to 8 chicken thighs
- 5 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a small bowl, mix the salt, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and paprika together.
- Coat the chicken with olive oil.
- Apply the seasoning rub onto the chicken.
- Heat a large cast iron skillet, then add 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Arrange the chicken in the skillet.
- Sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
