This Chicken Parmesan Casserole is a simple dish that the entire family will adore.

Delicious Chicken Parmesan Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb rigatoni pasta
  • 1 jar (32 oz) marinara sauce
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, grated and divided
  • 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4-6 frozen breaded chicken tenders, thawed

Instructions for Chicken Parmesan Casserole

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly coat a 9×13-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the rigatoni for 1 minute less than the package instructions. Drain and return to the pot.
  3. Add the marinara sauce, 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese, and 1 cup of mozzarella to the pot. Toss everything together and set aside.
  4. Cut the thawed chicken tenders into strips.
  5. Layer half of the rigatoni mixture in the prepared baking dish. Add half of the chicken strips, sprinkle with 1/3 of the Parmesan cheese, and top with 1 cup of mozzarella.
  6. Layer the remaining rigatoni on top. Add the remaining chicken strips and sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan and mozzarella on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is browned and crispy.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley, serve, and enjoy!
